The EAC Awards

The  Elderly Accommodation Council (EAC) Awards is an annual event that is very different to the usual awards ceremony. It is the residents of sheltered housing and housing with care themselves who nominate their own accommodation to be considered for an award via a specific managed process.

On the day of the awards, representatives from all the finalists attend along with sponsors and special guests. This event always has support and representation from the government as well as celebrity guest speakers. Royle Family Actress Liz Smith attended at Lord's Cricket Ground and newsreader Nicholas Owen spoke at Ascot.
